Although Great Keppel Island is the Capricorn Coasts main attraction, Yeppoon is a popular tourist destination with its own quality beaches. Boats to Great Keppel leave from Roslyn Bay several kilometres south of the town. One of the more bizarre things the town is recognised for, is the annual nudist boat regatta held each Australia Day on January 26th.
