The Whitsunday's are a collection of 74 islands just off the coast of Queensland between Mackay and Bowen in the Great Barrier Reef. They are famous for their crystal blue waters and forested islands.

Visitors can choose from a range of activities including snorkelling, fishing, sailing, dive courses and cruises to and around the islands.
Whitsunday Island is the largest of the islands and is a great spot for camping and hiking. Hook Island is great for snorkelling, while Day Dream Island and North and South Molle Island’s cater well to the family holiday makers. Lindeman Island is the most southerly of the Whitsunday's and has a Club Med Resort on it. |

Hamilton Island is the most heavily developed of the Islands. It has a resident population of around 1,500 people with accommodation for 2000 more, a 200 boat marina, shops, restaurants and an airport. Hayman Island is the most northerly of the Whitsunday's and is also the most exclusive. Hayman has a five star resort with accommodation suited for the wealthy. |
