Mansfield, population 2,500 is a very charming sub-alpine town situated on Fords Creek in a pretty valley, which is also surrounded by the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. Because of its close location to the ski-fields, it is essentially a resort town and a great winter base for those heading to Mount Buller or Mt Stirling to do some skiing. |
