Located 73km down the coast from Geelong. Lorne, population 1,100 is a very fashionable seaside resort. The town lies next to some beautiful coastline with great surfing beaches and also the eucalypt-clad slopes of the Otway Ranges. Lorne itself has some fine old buildings, great cafes and eating houses. |

It is a very popular place in summer and can become very crowded. The Angahook-Lorne State Park is also located nearby and has over 50 kilometres of great walking tracks where you can explore some of cool fern gullies and cascading waterfalls.
