The timber industry was why Denmark was established, as the town use to supply timber for goldfield development. Today the town relies mainly upon tourism and has some great natural features to offer people. The town is surrounded by beautiful coastal scenery, karri forests, stunning white beaches, clear ocean blue waters, and spectacular limestone headlands.
