This tiny town is nestled in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains and is well known for the surrounding limestone caves. Buchan is at the gateway to the Snowy Mountains National Park and white water rafting and four wheel driving trips are run from the town. The limestone caves can be explored independently or by organised tours operated by the park rangers.
