This quiet little beachside town south of Robe is ideal for peace and solitude if that’s what you are looking for in a coastal holiday. With a tiny population of 440, Beachport is a lobster fishing port through the year and a holiday destination in the summer months. Lake George is located 5km south of the town and is popular for wind surfing. The local beach is also good for surfing and there is also a lake located in the sand hills on the outskirts of the town, which is a nice place for swimming.
