Located near Kings Cross, these areas are a little quieter. They all have a reasonably strong gay influence, with Oxford St being Sydney's main gay street. They are pretty suburbs consisting of many beautifully restored terrace houses and converted warehouses. All these suburbs have a great cafe society and offer great shopping (mainly on Oxford St). They are all in close proximity to the city centre of Sydney (about a 20 minutes walk).
