Perth CBD is a modern, skyscraper-lined area that consists of business and shopping precincts.
Perth City itself sits along the Swan River and has some great parkland that separates the
Swan River and the main Perth CBD area.
- The main shopping area of Perth is around the two pedestrian malls, Hay St. and Murray St.

For good nightlife and eating head over to the
nearby Northbridge area where there is a large selection of good cafes and restaurants as well as pubs and nightclubs.
- Other places worth visiting are the Perth Botanic Gardens at Kings Park to the north of the CBD area, the Perth Cultural Centre which includes the State
Museum, Library, Gallery and the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. Across the river in South Perth is the Perth Zoo which is also worth a visit.
