With a population of 41,500, Albury is one of New South Wales’ largest inland cities and is situated on the mighty Murray River. On the Victorian side of the river is Albury’s sister city of Wodonga with a population of around 24,000. Albury’s size provides travellers with a good selection of accommodation and activities. It is also within driving distance to the Victorian and New South Wales snow fields and the famous wineries of the Rutherglen region. 15km north of Albury is the Ettamogah Pub where can experience a real-life version of a famous cartoon Aussie pub. Albury is one of Australia’s fastest growing regional areas with plenty to see and do.
